Members can lodge funds up to €2,500 per day with their debit card via the First Tech Credit Union App or Member Area Login on the FTCU website:

- Proceed to verification (Depending on your bank account, they may send a verification code)
- If all is in order you will receive a success notification

- You can apply for a new PIN number on the website.
- Go to Login and click on the Lost your PIN link.
- Complete your details and submit the form.
- Your pin will be sent to your mobile phone by SMS (during office hours)
- When you log in with your new PIN number you should change it to a 6 digit number of your choice in Person Settings on the website.
- Log into online banking on the website.
- Go to Manage Payees.
- To add a new account click on the ADD NEW EXTERNAL ACCOUNT link.
- Enter the details in Create an External Account and click on SAVE DETAILS.
- To delete a payee click the X beside the payee that you want to delete.
- If you have a DD or Regular Bank Transfer (Standing Order) in place currently or had in the past you won’t be able to delete the details that were used. You will get a message that says This Payee cannot be deleted because it’ s being used by a Standing Order.
- Add the account details in Manage Payees in online banking.
- The iban and bic on your credit card statement are for the general holding account so you must use your credit card number as the reference so that they know who the payment is for.
- When you have saved the details click on External Account Transfers and set up your transfer. The credit card details will be saved in the list of accounts under To Account.
- Log into online banking on the website.
- Go to Address Change.
- Enter the details under the Address Change Request and click on Save Address Change Request.
- You will also need to upload your proof of address under Document Upload which is also in online banking. We need a utility bill or bank statement dated in the last 6 months showing your name and new address. We have to have the proof of address to amend your address. These documents can also be emailed to info@firsttech.ie
You can save the members details as a payee and set up the transfer via External Account Transfers. You can’t do a direct member to member transfer.
You can’t do this online . We can amend your direct debit or payroll deduction if you send your request by email to info@firsttech.ie
If you set it up before 1pm on a business day the funds will arrive by 5pm that day, after that the funds will arrive by 5pm on the next business day.
We will soon be able to offer you the ability to send instant payments from your account. This means that a euro instant payment from your account will reach the beneficiaries account within 10 seconds. The account you are paying must be within the Single European Payments Area (SEPA). We will let you know when this service will be available through our online banking services and on our website www.firsttech.ie

- Up to date bank statement showing previous 3 months regular income and outgoings
- If moving a loan to us we need an up to date loan statement showing the loan balance
- For loan amounts over €50,000, evidence of quotes will be required.
Warning: If you do not meet the repayments on your loan, your account will go into arrears. This may affect your credit rating which may limit your ability to access credit in the future
